CLIMATE CHANGE FACT:
Globally, it is very likely that the 1990s was the warmest decade
and 1998 the warmest year on record. Records have been kept since
1861.
In September 2008, 28 students from Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Ireland, Mexico, Brazil and India went on an Arctic Expedition as part of an innovative climate change education program called the Cape Farewell Youth Expedition. In the Arctic, the students had the opportunity to complete art and science projects alongside top artists, scientists, and educators. The following videos and lesson plans were developed as teaching resources for educators. Please feel free to view and download the videos and lesson plans to use in the classroom (credit British Council, Cape Farewell Youth Expedition 2008 and Big Heart Media).
