Volvo Adventure
The Volvo Adventure - in partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme - is an educational programme that rewards environmental activities and the decision-makers of the future. If you have a project involving young people between 13 and 16 years old, working in groups of two to five people, and actively involved in devising and managing the project, then enter your project into this competition. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has been established to assess scientific, technical and socio-economic information relevant for the understanding of climate change, its potential impacts and options for adaptation and mitigation.

National Oceanography Centre, Southampton (formerly the Southampton Oceanography Centre) is one of the world's largest institutions devoted to research, teaching and technology development in ocean and earth science, a joint venture between the University of Southampton and the Natural Environment Research Council.

Friends of the Earth
Friends of the Earth is UK's most influential environmental campaigning organization with almost 1 million supporters across five continents and over 70 national organizations worldwide.

Arctic Youth Network (AYN)
AYN is a collection of young people providing a youth voice in the work of the Arctic Council.

Ontario First Nations Young Peoples Council (OFNYPC)
OFNYPC is made up of young regional representatives from Ontario who bring a collective voice for First Nations youth.

International Polar Year (IPY)
The IPY is a large scientific programme focused on the Arctic and the Antarctic from March 2007 to March 2009. Education and outreach are integral to the programme.
